The Nevis Range is the most westerly of all the ski areas and also one of the highest and most impressive with the imposing scenery of Ben Nevis and the huge open snowfields. The gondola takes skiers and boarders from the car park to the huge choice of skiing facilities. The huge open bowl makes it a favourite haunt for boarders and all levels of skiers. More advanced skiers/boarders can also enjoy the huge off-piste expanse of the Black Corrie.
Situated in the east of Scotland, this area runs over 3 valleys and four mountains and offers the largest lift system of all the areas in Scotland. There is skiing and boarding for everyone, whatever their level with exclusive nursery areas near the main car park.
The
Lecht is an ideal place for children to learn with the car park and
lifts just moments apart. There is snowmaking equipment (always a
bonus with the uncertainty of the snow weather in Scotland!) and there
is a designated snowboard fun park for those inclinced to try their
stuff on the half pipe and jumps.
Glencoe offers a friendly welcome to all levels of skiers. The Famous Fly Paper run, reputably the steepest piste black run in Scotland, ensure you will be offered some challenging skiing. A good resort for intermediates to advanced skiers and a favourite with boarders due to the unique and varied slopes featuring natural jumps and wide open runs.
