WHAT IS ON-SITE ACUPRESSURE MASSAGE? Acupressure Massage is based on traditional Japanese massage. The practitioner uses an ergonomically designed portable chair, which fully supports the client while allowing access to the back, neck, arms hands & head. The client remains fully clothed and no oils are used. It is a health & relaxation session, which revitalises and is intended to promote a sense of well-being. Tense and aching muscles relax and circulation is increased,. The sequence works to improve the flow of energy throughout the body and acts on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Acupressure Massage is not primarily a corrective treatment but more of a 'tune-up', although clients often report a lessening or disappearance of symptoms. |

At the first acupressure chair massage your practitioner will take a brief medical history, they will explain how the treatment works and what they are going to do. The treatment is carried out in your clothes. You will be shown how to sit on the massage chair & it will be adjusted to ensure you are comfortable. The treatment works on the back, shoulders, arms & hands, neck & head using massage and acupressure techniques. We recommend you drink water after the treatment. Please note: this treatment is not suitable if you are pregnant or trying to conceive.
