Elevated tee shot to narrow bunker strewn fairway, bordered by the
River Tweed on the left side and a small part of Vietnam on the
right on a long par 5. The green is overshadowed by a large stone
built viaduct. |
Difficult
choice as most of the par fours are 400+, however the 170 yard carry
over water on the par 3 third can make a grown man cry. The reasonable
sized green is well protected by deep bunkers at the front and side. |

| Summary |
|
| A
great course set in a great location in the grounds of a country
house. Although the course is nearly 7000 yards and the layout is
challenging, it's a great course for all levels of ability. A "must
play" course and to top it off it probably has the country's
friendliest pro. |
